Frequently asked questions
How do I add a book?
Tap the add (+) button in your library and choose an EPUB or PDF file, or share a file to Coral Reader from another app. The book is imported and saved on your device.
Where are my books stored?
Entirely on your device. Coral Reader never uploads, copies, or reads your books, and there is no cloud sync. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, imported books are removed from the device.
How do I change the theme, font, or language?
Open Settings to switch between light, dark, and system themes and to change the app language. While reading, open the reading options to adjust font size, spacing, and the page appearance.
What is included in a subscription, and is there a free trial?
An optional subscription unlocks premium features and is available as a monthly or yearly plan, sometimes with a free trial. Billing is handled by your app store (Apple App Store or Google Play).
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your app store account:
- iPhone / iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Coral Reader.
- Android: Google Play → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Coral Reader.
If you cancel, you keep premium access until the end of the current billing period.
How do I restore a purchase on a new device?
Open Settings and tap Restore Purchases while signed in to the same app store account you used to subscribe.
How do I turn off analytics?
Open Settings and turn off “Share anonymous usage data.” This stops anonymous analytics and crash reporting; the rest of the app keeps working normally.
I found a bug or my book won’t open — what should I do?
